FUNDING AND HELP FROM PARENTS EXPANDS MKHUSELI KOLITI CRÈCHE

An emerging cattle farmers’ co-op, in the Theewaterskloof Municipality, is receiving funding and business support from Klipheuwel Wind Farm to help the group improve the standard of the herd, which will drive income for the co-op to become more sustainable and thereby stimulate local job creation. YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB LAUNCHES SOUP KITCHEN AND INITIATES COVID FEEDING PROJECT

Thanks to the youth Olympiakos Football Club in Noupoort, who started a community soup kitchen during the COVID-19 pandemic, 140 vulnerable community members, including 72 children, are receiving daily cooked meals, in an effort to support those most impacted by the pandemic. The project is being funded by Noupoort Wind Farm’s socio economic development programme and is being implemented in collaboration with the two local clinics in the area. (more…)

WEST COAST SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN UP A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNERS

Umoya Energy Wind Farm, within the Saldanha Bay Municipality, is offering 2021 academic scholarships for local Grade 12 learners.
