On 23 October 2025, the Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 will once again come alive as we host the 14th annual SAWEA Awards and Gala Dinner. This standout evening on the wind energy calendar honours the trailblazers and changemakers shaping the sector, marking another milestone in our collective journey.

The Annual Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, a hallmark of Windaba, once again stood out as a conference highlight. Hosted by the charismatic Alan Committie, whose humour kept the audience entertained, the evening took an unexpected and delightful turn with a special performance by the Women in Wind, led by Chairperson Sunette Smith. With over 400 guests in attendance, the event celebrated the achievements of the renewable energy industry, honoured outstanding contributions, and fostered a spirit of camaraderie—creating an memorable experience for all.
