Perdekraal East Wind Farm announced the installation of its 48th wind turbine, two weeks ahead of schedule, on 24 March 2020. The final lifting was a celebratory moment for the largely South African crew, who have since left the construction site, in compliance with the COVID-19 regulations, which came into effect just three days after this milestone. Kangnas Wind Farm has announced the completion of all 61 wind turbine installations, two weeks ahead of schedule, on 17 March 2020. Furthermore, the project is proud to confirm that the 45-member crew that took on this large-scale lifting programme, are mostly local South African’s from the Northern Cape Province. (more…)
