Miliswa Mlokoti started her professional career at Telkom SA in 1999 for a period of 4 years before joining Eskom in 2003. In Eskom, she spent 15 years in different business units, that is, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, Eskom Dx, Eskom Tx and Eskom Rotek Industries of which 10yrs were spent in different leadership roles within the Eskom project management environment.
She is currently the O&M Plant Manager at Kangnas Wind Farm in Springbok, Northern Cape. She has previously managed operations and maintenance for WC1 Wind Farm, Aurora and Vrendendal Solar Farms under ENGIE SA for a period of 2 years.
She holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (College of Cape Town), BTech in Project Management (Cape Peninsula University of Technology), Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (University of Stellenbosch), Operations Management (University of Cape Town) and is busy pursuing an MBA in Energy & Sustainability (University of Cumbria, Zurich).
She is a member of the SAIEE, PMSA, SAWEA Asset Working Group and the Gender Diversity Working Group where she holds the role of Deputy Chairperson.
Recently, she joined the WeConnect mentoring programme as a Mentor.
