Nordex and Acciona Windpower have joined their businesses, creating one of the leading
companies in the wind power industry. The group offers reliable and high efficient wind turbines for nearly all geographical regions across the globe.
The merger in South Africa has translated into a fully integrated organization of more than 60 people, capturing both companies’ proven experience together with a larger wind turbine portfolio, including Nordex and Acciona Windpower wind turbines.
Nordex and Acciona Windpower combined have 463 MW in operation under South Africa’s REIPPPP. A very promising future is envisaged by bringing together Nordex’ highly qualified and experienced construction team with Acciona Windpower’s highly competitive AW3000 platform and Nordex’ new 4.5 MW Delta generation wind turbines.
